Dr. Leitch incorporated key recommendations from CPCHE partners in her report including the need for a Canadian longitudinal cohort study, banning toxic substances in children's toys, an immediate ban on non-essential uses of mercury in consumer products, and the need for reform of the Hazardous Products Act and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act - see pages 85-92.
