Collection of materials for use with parents and prospective parents
During 2010, through the Canadian Environmental Law Association, CPCHE has been working with Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House in Vancouver on an information needs assessment project for staff within CAPC (Community Action Program for Children) and CPNP (Canada Perinatal Nutrition Program) projects across Canada. As that work continues, this collection aims to provide a selection of brochures, fact sheets and videos on child health issues that may be useful to CAPC-CPNP program staff. Topics include lead, mercury, pesticides, plastics and more. It focuses on practical resources explaining risks and what you can do to avoid exposures during pregnancy and childhood. Please note that many more resources are gathered on these and other topics in our thematic collections. See also the full collection of CPCHE fact sheets. To learn more about these issues, see additional resources in CPCHE's educational materials and our Resources for the Child Care Sector collection.
