On Reducing Environmental Risks to Child Health
CPCHE-sponsored workshops share important information with early learning, public health and other service providers about environmental risks to child health. CPCHE developed these workshops in collaboration with Best Start: Ontario's Maternal, Newborn and Early Child Devleopment Resource Centre building upon the Playing it Safe manual (pictured left and linked below). CPCHE and Best Start created this manual as a companion to CPCHE's publication, Child Health and the Environment - A Primer. Additional workshops were offered across Canada during 2009 funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Linked below are supporting materials for these workshops including the Playing it Safe manual, Child Health and Environment - A Primer and hand-outs and fact sheets used in the workshops. Additional materials were also developed for CPCHE's Local Champions workshops and CPCHE's Playing it Safe Fact Sheet Series.
